Amazing Lace

I haven't worn anything lacy in the past 20 years. The last time I remembered wearing them was when I went to Kinder School. I had lace socks and lace undies!

But we've been seeing so a lot of laces these days. While they seem too vintage-y to some, it borders between sexy, hippie, and vintage to me. But how do you wear them?

Personally, I'd go for the white gladiator boots. It's tough and sexy at the same time.

Queen Of The Rings

Gone are the days when you'll see Julia Roberts wearing a pair of big earrings, a dozen of bangles, and a handful (I mean literal, yes) of rings all at the same time. Fashion has changed dramatically through time and always, we find ourselves going back to the simple ensemble of ring-or-earrings-or-bangle. OR not AND.

Forget the earrings-ring-watch-bracelet sets! Even if you live and breathe vintage, you have to float and glide fabulously through the ever-changing currents of the fashion trends.

Yes, I've dropped the sets! And one way to swagger the streets with style and statement is through cocktail rings.

So, what to wear with what?

EVERYDAY.

Denim Fever - Again!

I can't get over the "denim fever." While it may be a little late to some because summer is almost over in one part of the world but then again this is why denims exist - because they can be worn anytime, anywhere, and in a wide range of ways.

TATTERED.

Because I am a huge Kate Moss fan, I usually go for the baggy tattered jeans that I can wear with a boyfriend's tee. I've rekindled my love for stripes (blue stripes specifically) because I feel that they make an instant fashion statement. A pair of black gladiators in high-heels reinforces femininity. Complete the look with two or three (no, never just one) cocktail rings.

DRESSY.

The denim dress has just made a big comeback. And what better way to welcome these cute dresses than by matching them with a pair of chunky DMs. I really don't mind wearing these huge shoes even if I live in a tropical country. They're the best weapon during rainy days. Pinks DMs, specifically, is the perfect combination of function and style. Accessorize with your Rayban sunglasses and bangles.

CROPPED.

Dress-down days do not mean you'll have to compensate style. Baggy jeans and a loose cute top equal spunk. We all know that this is another Kate Moss influence. Personally, I love wearing this ensemble on weekends. I match the look with a pair of comfortable sneakers and I accessorize with loud-colored sunglasses, cocktail ring, and a stunning bag.

LONG SLEEVES.

We used to ignore our denim long sleeves but its much-deserved comeback changed everything. I am an advocate of "the-more-loose-the-better" because I crop or fold them to fit me perfectly anyway. To flatter your shape, match your loose top with a high-waist shirt. Accessorize with vintage earrings and deadly denim heels.

How about you? How do you like to wear your denims?

marry a music man!

High-waist shorts, denims, polka dots, chunky DMs, boyfriend tees - don't we just love them? Here's some more!

Raise the pants

I must post this. Kate Moss is a huge obsession and ever since, I have adored vintage pants to death.

Note: These are not my pictures.
